Her first single, Where Are You Christmas?. Edelweiss is currently 21,797 in Amazon’s mp3 song sales. Hollie’s first full album is due out in May.

MP3 downloads of Hollie Steel’s first single, Where are you Christmas will be available shortly. The release of the CD singles will be released tomorrow.

Hollie hopes downloads will propel her up the charts

The Huncoat 11-year-old’s song ‘Where are you Christmas‘ is available for pre-order online from HMV and is due to be released on Monday.

“I think it’s going into the stores next week and we probably won’t know how she’s done until the Sunday night after it’s been released.” From next week physical copies of the single, co-written by Mariah Carey, can be bought for £2.

But with it also going on download for 79p Hollie fans are hoping that the internet, which propelled her Britain’s Got Talent debut to worldwide audiences, can see her join the likes of Robbie Williams, George Michael and the X-Factor winner in the charts.

Nina said: “She needs about 7,000 downloads to get in the top 40 and that’s a lot for a little girl. But we have a lot more than 7,000 people in Accrington and 79p is nothing really to get a lovely song!”

Nina also revealed that the title of Hollie’s forthcoming album is virtually decided.

She said: “I think she’s going to call it ‘I Could’ve Danced All Night’, because that’s her song. She has got something like 23 million You Tube hits and most of them are for that.
