“Where are you, Christmas?” to be Hollie’s First Single

East Lancashire singing star Hollie Steel aims for Christmas number one

Hollie’s version of “Where are you, Christmas?”, a song co-written by Mariah Carey and which featured in the box office hit movie the Grinch, will be available to pre order within weeks and will be released on December 7.

Hollie, who goes to Oakhill College in Whalley, and used to live in Burnley, will also meet her “idol” Alexandra Burke next week when the pair perform in front of thousands as part of Manchester’s Christmas light switch on celebrations.

Hollie, who is also releasing her first album next year, also appeared as the surprise guest at the 25th anniversary of East Lancashire Hospice.
