Update, in webcast interview Hollie said she never said he was a bully.
In an interview with the Mirror, soon-to-be-or-already Internet Celebrity kid, Hollie Steel calls Simon Cowell a Cruel bully for being harsh with her. Is it because he told her what he didn’t like first? And that he didn’t like her being dresses as a Ballerina, and he didn’t like the song?
But he did said that, when she sung, he really found it fantastic, which I consider is big coming from Simon, who is indeed a bully though, but I don’t think he was bullying Holly Steel. But she is only 10, and he could have been sweeter, and it was necessary to comment on her Tutu, and her choice of song.
In her words:
Simon is a bully. He was very mean to me. He might have thought it was funny but its lonely up there on that stage on your own. Im only 10 and when he said those things about my tutu I felt like I wanted to cry.Source
She said she was in tears but she didn’t want to show her tears and because Simon was such a bully, she is now determined to in win Britain’s Got Talent.
I had tears in my eyes but I didnt want to him to see me cry like the bullies at school so I thought of things that made me happy. I thought of being in the final of Britains Got Talent and winning it.
It will be really good if she wins Britain’s got talent because of this, or despite this. But win or not, she sure has got a very nice future ahead.
God Bless!

O dear, I think the word bully is not understood, and they seem to think if someone has a bit of advice for you that you dont agree with lets call them a bully, it is a terrible shame that her moment has been spoilt by these quotes and that people who time is spent with are labelled bullies which is the first they have heard about itthis weekend, and has upset them alot. Everyone should be so exited about Holly’s performance, but that has been taken away by the cruel things said in the papers about her school and friends, dont know if this is the parents words, but stop and think before you brandpeople bullies, kids will be kids.

Do not be heartless. The girl is 10. She said “It’s lonely up there on that stage on your own.” Not true? The tutu was a great part of the misdirection that created the dramatic surprise. It almost caused Simon to stop her before she started singing (he had his hand raised to end it right before she opened her mouth). The tutu was perfect for her act. And the song was PERFECT for her voice and PERFECT in light of her dancing.
Simon was all wrong on this one. Don’t know why some people think he’s always right (though he often is). Simon made a mistake. It’s understandable, since these judges have very little time to think about their comments. He should apologize to Hollie next time he sees her. Preferably in public.
